Well, what a week it has been! The launch weekend was buzzing with visitors from near and far, eager to see what Avalanche at The Piece Hall is all about.

Literally hundreds of you have entered our tipi and found warmth whilst enjoying one of our delicious Alpine treats on offer! 

We have loved meeting you all cannot wait to see what the rest of the season has to offer; starting with the Halifax Lights Switch on and arrival of the Spiegeltent on Saturday 24th November.

On Thursday 29th November we will be holding Avalanche at The Piece Hall’s first ‘Party night’ where there will be a DJ (TBC)  playing the latest tunes and we’ll be offering 2 for 1 on spirits and mixers and half price Ski Shots for just £15! 

Our existing offers will continue to run including 20% off food on Mondays and Tuesdays by quoting PISTE20 and free children’s drinks on from Monday to Friday every week until 5PM.

If you haven’t already, make sure to pay us a visit for a much desired (and well earned) après-ski!

On Thursday 15th November, we held a private preview night to an exclusive guest list offering a sneak peak at the authentic food and drinks Avalanche at the Piece Hall has to offer.

Guests included staff from the various shops and outlets at The Piece Hall, Calderdale Council representatives, Andy’s Man Club, social media influencers and Big Brother finalist, Zoe Jones.

Upon arrival they were treated to a warm welcome with the open fire, free gifts of chocolate, sunglasses from Moose™ and the opportunity to sample the full menu of food and drinks available.

The atmosphere was laid back affair but not without buzz, especially for the ‘Raclette’ cheese and steady flow of Menabrea – both firm favourites amongst the guests!
